Not great photos as it was the battle with the intruder a (female eyass Peregrine 2008) was high up and a distance away. Almost invisable to the Naked eye.
Colin, fantastic pics, especially as they were taken from such a distance. It appears the juvenile is unbanded?!? I have seen a juvenile tiercel close to me in Nottingham and an adult female near the QMC recently. However I have not seen the adult tiercel that had taken up residency at the Trent Poly building for at least 18 months. I will nip over to take a look at the young and parents closer to fledging.

Thanks for sharing them. Many fans of the Derby Project are watching the webcams but this sequence of pictures shows another side of the story, which is simply fascinating and without them, we would have no idea what the tiercel is up to when away from the cathedral.
